If you're still using Joy-Cons as your primary controllers, you're missing out. This Pro Controller is superior in every way, from its ergonomic design to its exceptional battery life. The gyroscope is incredibly precise, and the Amiibo functionality works flawlessly. It feels natural and sturdy in hand, making gaming much more immersive and comfortable for hours on end. Definitely the best way to play the Nintendo Switch.
The HD rumble feature really adds another layer to gameplay, very subtle yet impactful. For some reason, I thought it would be heavier, but the 8.8 oz weight is actually perfect. It feels premium.
This controller is a significant upgrade for playing any Switch title, especially action games.
The buttons and analog sticks feel incredibly responsive, making all my games more enjoyable. It's much more comfortable than using the individual Joy-Cons for longer sessions. My son loves using it.
Overall, this is a very solid controller with great battery life. My main issue is the D-pad feels a bit stiff compared to other controllers I've used, which can be noticeable in fighting games. Otherwise, a great piece of kit.
