The idea of zip-off pants is fantastic, but the zippers on these can be a little frustrating. They tend to snag on the fabric, especially when trying to reattach the legs quickly. The overall comfort and material are good, but the zipper issue is a consistent annoyance when out on the trail.
When converted to shorts, they look a bit too wide and loose for my taste.
The elastic waistband on these pants is incredibly comfortable and doesn't dig in at all. It makes them really easy to wear all day long, whether hiking or just running errands. The high rise is also perfect.
Ordered my usual size S based on the size chart, but these pants were huge on me. The waist was too big and the legs were very baggy. Had to return them.
The fit is comfortable and the material is really nice. They perform well on day hikes. My only minor gripe is that the stuff sacks for the pant legs are a little fiddly to use.
