Too slick initially
The grip on this mat was very poor right out of the box, which was frustrating. It's slowly improving with use, but the breaking-in period is longer than I expected. My hands slide a bit during downward dog.

Reliable and comfortable

Durable and stable but needed patience
I got this mat in Cinder and the color is nice. It provides excellent stability and feels very durable, like it will last a long time. The cushioning is also perfect for protecting my joints. However, the initial grip was a bit of a challenge and it definitely took some consistent use to get it to a comfortable, non-slippery state. Now that it’s broken in, it’s great for my practice.
