I took this on a backpacking trip and was really impressed. The battery lasted much longer than expected, even with regular use of the warmer light settings. The weight is negligible in my pack, and the light quality is excellent for reading or setting up camp. The shake modes are a fun, easy way to cycle through options.
Works great, but sometimes the shake feature takes a few tries.
The brightness is excellent for its size, and I love the different modes, especially the Candle Flicker. It's a bit of a shame it can't charge other devices, as that would make it a perfect all-in-one camp light.
The battery life on my unit is nowhere near the 200 hours stated for lower settings. I used it on a medium warm setting and it died after about 15 hours. Maybe mine is defective, but it was disappointing.
Bought this for evening hangs in the backyard and it's perfect. The color rotation mode adds a nice vibe. It's much brighter than my old battery-powered lantern and recharges quickly.
