Finally a pack that really secures my skateboard without feeling awkward. The locking straps are genius and super strong. This thing is built to take a beating, just like GORUCK promises, and the Black + Hot Pink colorway looks great.
The ruck is very well-made, but at 2.0 lbs, it's a bit heavier than I expected for a 15L pack.
The build quality on this ruck is incredible, as expected from GORUCK. I got the Black + Woodland Camo, and it looks really sharp while feeling super durable. My only small complaint is that the internal weight plate pocket feels a bit tight for my standard 10lb plate, making it a slight struggle to get in and out.
This pack is fantastic for daily carry. The 15L capacity is just right for essentials without being bulky, and it holds a lot more than you'd expect thanks to the smart design. The locking front buckles are a unique and useful feature; they secure my yoga mat perfectly when I'm walking to the studio. The 1000D Cordura material feels incredibly tough, and I appreciate that it's designed to last for years. This is my go-to bag now.
Got this in Armor Grey and it's built like a tank. The zippers are heavy-duty and the material just feels indestructible. Used it for light rucking and it carries very comfortably, even with a weight plate in the internal pocket.
