The overall warmth of the parka is decent, and the shell feels nice. However, the removable hood is a major letdown. It doesn't stay on securely in windy conditions and feels very flimsy, offering minimal protection. It completely detracts from an otherwise potentially good jacket, making it impractical for truly cold and windy days. I expected better design.
