I was looking for a jacket specifically for windy conditions, and this one didn't quite deliver. While it's light and looks good, I found the wind still cut through more than I expected on a breezy day. For a truly wind-resistant layer, you might need something with a different material or weave. It's fine for very light breezes, but not strong gusts.
Bought the Seed colored jacket for my brother, and he raves about it. He uses it for everything from hiking to just running errands. Says it's incredibly comfortable and he loves how packable it is.
The material feels nice and it handles light wind well. However, the sizing seems a bit off; I usually wear a Medium, but this M feels a bit tight, especially in the shoulders. Consider sizing up if you prefer a looser fit.
Exactly what I needed for spring weather, very practical.
