Too bulky for backpacking
This bag is just too heavy and bulky for serious backpacking trips.
Meet the Wrap Sack from Rumpl, the sleeping bag inspired by blanketing layers. Less constricting than a mummy bag and more performance than yesteryears' flannel rectangles - it's the perfect balance between way too much and not nearly enough. Available in fan-favorite Cascade Fade ! The Wrap Sack 20° Sleeping Bag introduces a first-of-its-kind blanketing layering system that lets you choose your comfort setting for optimal slumber. With three ways to wrap, you’ve got temperature control up and down, a pillow pocket hood that integrates with Rumpl Camp Pillows, plus thoughtful features like Cape Clip® connections and zipper panels that secure your layers or open up for freedom of movement. *Not eligible for discounts.

The wrap system is truly ingenious for temperature regulation; it's easy to adjust on the fly without fully unzipping. The material feels robust but still soft. However, for someone on the taller side, the 80-inch length could feel a bit snug when trying to stretch out fully inside the bag with a pillow in the hood.
The Wrap Sack offers a unique take on sleeping bag comfort, especially the blanketing layers. It really makes a difference for regulating temperature during the night. My only minor gripe is that the pillow pocket hood could be a little deeper for my camp pillow.
Never thought a sleeping bag could be this adaptable. The semi-rectangular shape gives plenty of room to move around, unlike those restrictive mummy bags. I love being able to open up the zipper panels for more freedom on warmer nights, then cinch it down when it gets colder. The Cascade Fade color is also really nice in person.
This bag is really versatile for different overnight conditions. The layering system is clever and lets you dial in the warmth. However, the Cape Clip feature feels a bit awkward when trying to fully secure layers around my shoulders.
