The 2L capacity is ideal for my longer bike rides and trail runs, keeping me hydrated without refilling. The flow from the bite valve is consistent and doesn't require a lot of effort to get water. Sometimes the twist-lock can feel a bit stiff to unlock quickly, which is a minor inconvenience.
I've been using this bladder for several months now, primarily for long walks and day hikes, and it’s held up well. The Glass-Like film really does prevent that plastic flavor, which is a big improvement over my old system. It fits fine into my standard hiking pack’s hydration sleeve. My only very small nitpick is that it can be a bit tricky to fully dry the corners near the slide closure, even with the Widepac opening.
This bladder is incredibly tough and has become an absolute staple for my GORUCK challenges and daily rucking. The wide slide closure makes cleaning so simple, which is a huge plus when you're using it frequently. I've had other bladders before that were a pain to get truly clean, but the Grunge-Guard really works. It fits perfectly in my Rucker 3.0 and the high-flow bite valve is convenient when I'm on the move.
This bladder has been fantastic for all my outdoor adventures. The material is strong and I haven't had any issues with leaks, even when it's packed tightly. The Helix bite valve delivers water smoothly and the twist-lock mechanism is secure. Cleaning is also surprisingly easy with the wide slide closure.
The material of this bladder feels very durable and I appreciate the antimicrobial feature. It slides easily into my hydration pack, though not a GORUCK brand one, and the 2L capacity is just right for my longer hikes. The only minor complaint is that the twist-lock on the Helix bite valve can sometimes be a little stiff to operate quickly.
