The build quality of this hitch is really impressive, especially the kernmantle rope. It feels very secure when my dog is attached to his harness. My only small complaint is that the stow bag, while updated, could be slightly larger to make packing it away a bit less snug.
This system is exactly what we needed for car camping with our energetic border collie. The rope is strong, and the anodized aluminum hardware is robust. Setting it up takes only minutes, and our dog loves the freedom it provides compared to just a regular leash.

This setup is good quality, as expected from Ruffwear. The kernmantle rope and hardware feel sturdy and secure. My main issue is the length; it's just a bit too short for the spaces we typically camp in, limiting my dog's roaming radius more than I hoped.
