My border collie mix has boundless energy and this Puffin Game has become an essential part of her routine. Instead of just throwing her breakfast into a bowl, I load this up, and it keeps her mentally and physically engaged for a solid half hour. The Puffin Game works very well as a slow feeder for my enthusiastic eater, taking his meal time from seconds to over twenty minutes. The pet-safe plastic and rubber blend seems quite durable, which is important for a chew-prone dog. I also appreciate that it holds a full meal. My only minor concern is that it can be a bit awkward to clean some of the inner parts thoroughly, requiring a good hand wash.
My dog used to inhale his food in under a minute, which worried me. Since getting this Puffin Game in Green, his meal times are now a full 15-20 minutes, sometimes even longer if I pack it a bit tighter.
