Didn't work for my dog
This insert was supposed to help my speedy eater, but my dog just flipped it out of the bowl. The suction isn't strong enough for an energetic chewer. Disappointed with how easily it came out.
The Basecamp™ Slow Feeder is an accessory that helps pace quick eaters and add a little extra mental enrichment to mealtime. Made from food safe silicone, it presses in and fits securely inside the Basecamp™ Bowl. Taking a nod from tangled tree roots, the design creates pockets that encourage slower eating and engagement. Post mealtime, you can remove and pop it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Stay fueled and ready for whatever’s next with the entire Basecamp ™ Collection: explore the Basecamp™ Bowl , Basecamp™ Mat , and Basecamp™ Anti-Splash Ring.

Our golden retriever always ate too fast, leading to upset stomachs. This Basalt Gray insert, size Medium, has been a fantastic addition to his bowl. It really makes him work for his food, taking almost five times longer to finish. Plus, it's super easy to clean in the dishwasher. A definite win for our furry friend.
The Basalt Gray silicone is easy to clean and fits well in our existing Basecamp Bowl. It definitely makes our terrier eat slower, but sometimes a few kibbles get stuck in the deepest crevices.
The silicone is food-safe and very durable, making it easy to wash.
This Basalt Gray insert does a great job of slowing down our lab's eating habits. He used to gulp everything down in seconds, but now it takes him a few minutes. Sometimes the larger kibble pieces get a bit stuck, though.
