The moment I unboxed these, the quality of the calf leather and the hand-polishing on the Dark Tan was evident. They fit true to size for my 8.5. The full leather insole provides excellent breathability, and the Derby brogue style is exactly what I was looking for. These are a significant step up from my old cemented construction shoes, both in comfort and appearance.
Bought these for my husband for his business casual office and they're perfect. The Dark Tan color is versatile, and he says they're comfortable enough for long days. The wingtip brogue detailing is classic.
These are truly well-made shoes. The calf leather has a beautiful depth to the Dark Tan color, and the Goodyear welt construction feels sturdy. They fit true to size 9.5.
These Dark Tan brogues looked great out of the box, but the leather is incredibly stiff. Even after several wears, they're still pinching my husband's feet at the widest part. The insole also feels harder than expected for the price.
Always wanted a pair of proper Goodyear welted shoes and these Loakes delivered. The Dark Tan leather is richer than my previous pairs and the overall build quality is noticeable. They were a bit snug at first in my usual size 11, but after a few wears they broke in beautifully and are now very comfortable for extended periods. I anticipate these lasting for years with proper care.
