About this item
The Swamp Cooler Zip efficiently cools dogs during light and fast, high-intensity adventures through shading and evaporative cooling. The light and sleek Swamp Cooler Zip uses shade-providing spandex over the back and Ruffwear’s Swamp Cooler™ tech in the chest panel for an evaporative cooling effect that disperses heat from the dog’s core. To tap into the Swamp Cooler™ tech, soak in water, zip on your dog, and go. What's New: We updated the Swamp Cooler Zip (formerly known as the Jet Stream) with new materials to hold more water and a longer charge, and new patterning and construction for an improved fit and performance. How does Swamp Cooler™ Tech work? Learn more about evaporative cooling and other ways to keep your dog cool .

Helps a lot on hot days
Bought the Salmon Pink in Small for my terrier mix. It makes a noticeable difference on warm days, keeping her more comfortable during playtime. It takes a little effort to get a perfect snug fit.
★★★★★
A lifesaver for our shepherd
This vest in size Large has been incredible for our German Shepherd in the Florida heat. He typically struggles, but this vest keeps his core temperature down. It's really helped his activity levels.

Good for walks
This cooling vest is decent for our daily walks. It definitely helps my pug stay a bit more comfortable. It doesn't stay wet quite as long as I hoped, but still useful.
