My lab, Ranger, is a true adventurer, and these shoes have been amazing for our longer trips. We measured him for the 2.50" front and 2.25" back, and the fit is secure without being too tight. The polyester ripstop upper really does repel water and grit, which keeps his paws much cleaner and healthier. I'm especially impressed with the non-marking outsole; it provides excellent grip on varied surfaces from loose gravel to damp leaves, making our hikes so much more comfortable for him.

Got these for my pointer to protect his paws on rocky trails. The Obsidian Black in 2.25" fit his front paws well, but the 2.00" for the back needed a little breaking in to be perfectly comfortable.
