About this item
The Omnijore™ Dog Joring System provides a fun and comfortable way for a dog and human to work as a team, with the dog pulling and the human skiing (skijoring), skateboarding, running (canicross style), or biking (bikejoring). The complete system includes a dog harness, human hipbelt, and towline. The components are designed to work together to maximize performance, comfort, and fun.
The hip belt has a low-profile, lay-flat design with light padding, two zippered pockets, and two stash pockets made of a nylon spandex blend for plenty of stretch.
The hip belt has adjustable (and removable) leg straps that help keep the belt in place during your joring activities. A central side-release buckle makes for easy on/off and a separate quick-release tow strap connects to the towline.
The part static, part dynamic towline is lightweight, absorbs shock, and gives you the option to grab onto the static parts if needed for control.
Towline Length: 6.5 - 8.75 ft (2 - 2.7 m)
Hip Belt: 25 - 45 in (63 - 114.5 cm)
Removable Leg Loops: 45 in (114.5 cm) Max

Great for bikejoring

Bought the Medium for my border collie, and it's fantastic for bikejoring. The dog harness fits him well without restricting his movement, and the towline provides good tension. The human hipbelt is surprisingly secure and the padding makes a big difference compared to my old belt.

Leg straps could be better

The removable leg straps on the hipbelt kept coming loose during activity, which was annoying.

Almost perfect for skijoring

This joring system in Lichen Green has been great for skijoring with my German Shorthaired Pointer. The harness is well-made and he seems comfortable pulling in it. The human hipbelt is nicely padded and the pockets are handy for snacks and my phone. My only minor complaint is that one of the leg straps occasionally slips a bit, requiring a quick readjustment mid-activity. Other than that, it's a solid, well-designed kit for multi-sport use.

This system in Large/XLarge fits my Alaskan Malamute and me perfectly for bikejoring. The dog harness seems very secure and distributes the pull well across his chest, not just his neck. The hipbelt pockets are surprisingly useful for keys and my phone during our runs.

This system has been a big step up for canicross with my husky. The adjustable harness fits her snugly without rubbing, and the towline has just the right amount of give. The human belt feels stable and doesn't shift around, even on varied terrain.
