Really impressed with these. The Contagrip outsole is incredibly grippy on all the diverse terrains I encounter. They feel very secure and supportive, making my trail runs much more enjoyable and confident. Sizing felt spot on too.
The arch support felt too aggressive for my feet, causing discomfort.
While the grip on these is quite good, the Quicklace system is a bit of a hassle. It's hard to get the tension just right without it feeling too tight or too loose in different spots. Also, the textile upper doesn't feel as breathable as I expected, leading to sweaty feet on longer summer runs. I was hoping for more adjustability and better ventilation.
These shoes have been fantastic for all my trail adventures. The Contagrip MA outsole provides incredible traction, whether I'm on loose dirt, rocks, or even some light mud. The Endofit sleeve keeps my foot snug and prevents any rubbing or hot spots, even on my longest runs. They feel surprisingly light for the amount of support they offer, making them my new go-to for serious trail running.
The moderate support is noticeable and appreciated on longer distances, helping prevent fatigue. The Contagrip outsole is absolutely reliable on diverse surfaces, which is exactly what I need. Only issue is they seem to run a touch small, so consider ordering a half size up.
