Amazing flavor depth
This cumin is truly special. The subtle sweetness and citrus undertones make a huge difference in my slow-cooked dishes. It's amazing for tempering oils and adding a final touch.
The Vishnoi family has been farming cumin organically for the last five years in the district of Jodhpur. Our Jodhana Cumin is grown alongside groundnuts, wheat, and fenugreek, and farmed using vermicomposting, natural pest repellent, and fermented fertilizers. Mangilal Vishnoi's dream is to build a resource center to provide bio inputs to other farmers and help grow the regenerative movement!

This Jodhana Cumin has an incredible aroma that fills the kitchen when I toast it. The taste is full-bodied and warm, perfect for my homemade chili powder. Definitely a cut above.
The seeds are whole and seem very fresh, and the flavor is robust. My only small wish is that the tin was slightly easier to open with one hand when I'm in the middle of cooking. Otherwise, very happy with the spice itself.
The flavor profile on this Jodhana Cumin is incredibly rich and nuanced. It's become my go-to for grinding fresh spice blends for stews and roasted vegetables. The citrus notes are a lovely surprise.
You can tell this cumin is incredibly fresh and has a wonderfully potent aroma.
