I've tried a few different sources for Byadgi chillies over the years, and these are genuinely the best quality I've come across. The flavor is incredibly rich and authentic, with that signature earthy undertone. It provides a beautiful, deep red color to my dishes while keeping the heat perfectly mild, making it versatile for various culinary applications, especially South Indian cuisine.
While the color is quite nice, these were a bit spicier than I anticipated for a 'mild' chili. My family found them a little too hot for our usual weeknight meals. I had to use less than I normally would.

These chillies definitely deliver on the color and earthy flavor. They are good quality whole chillies. However, I found the description could have been clearer about the exact level of 'mild' heat.
