The roasted butternut squash flavor really comes through.
The flavor profile leans heavily towards the sweeter side, which wasn't quite what I was expecting from a savory soup. While the texture is good and it warms up easily, the sweetness overpowered the other aromatic herbs for my taste. I prefer my butternut squash soups with a more balanced, less sugary profile.
It's quite creamy and has a rich butternut squash flavor, making for a quick meal. I do find it a little sweeter than I prefer for a savory soup, which is the only reason it's not a full five stars.
It's hard to believe this is a ready-to-eat soup.
