The Frizzle oil had an odd, slightly bitter taste when frying, which I didn't expect from an extra virgin frying oil. It didn't perform as well as my usual high-heat oils, leaving a strange aftertaste in fried foods. The other two were okay, but the frying oil was a letdown.
The Drizzle oil has a wonderful peppery kick, which is exactly what I look for in a finishing oil. The Sizzle is a good everyday choice too. My only small wish is for the Frizzle to have a slightly larger volume given how much I fry.
The oils are tasty and the set provides good options for different cooking styles. My only minor critique is that the bottle design, while attractive, makes them a bit slippery to handle when hands are oily.
This is truly the best olive oil set I have ever purchased. The Drizzle has an incredibly bold flavor for finishing dishes, and the Sizzle is so versatile for everyday cooking. My husband bought it for me, and I've loved using it for everything from salad dressings to frying eggs; it’s a total kitchen upgrade.
While the oils themselves are decent, the glass bottles felt quite thin and fragile. One of them arrived with a small chip near the bottom. It makes me a bit hesitant to reorder for fear of breakage during shipping.
