Having tasted many olive oils from different regions, this Kalamata oil stands out for its exceptional quality and unique flavor. It's clear this is hand-harvested and cold-pressed, as the fresh, full-bodied taste comes through beautifully. I particularly enjoy it drizzled over lentil soup and roasted vegetables, as it adds an authentic Mediterranean touch. A truly superior product.
A robust and distinctive flavor, though a touch stronger than I usually prefer.
The oil has a very distinct, bold Kalamata olive taste, which can be a bit overpowering for some uses. It's excellent for a strong vinaigrette or dipping with robust bread, but not quite as versatile as I'd hoped for everyday cooking.
This oil has a beautiful, rich flavor that is perfect for finishing dishes. While it's great, the specific Kalamata taste means it's not quite an everyday olive oil for all my cooking needs, but it excels in its niche.
