Rich and complex
Truly a fantastic green tea with a rich, yet subtle, flavor profile.
The misty, cloudy climate of the mountainous Xinyang area of Henan Province, China produces this popular green tea. This tea was harvested in late April 2022, both grown and hand processed in small batches by Duan and his family. Mao Jian literally translates to "hair tips", referring to the fine furry appearance of the inner side of the tea leaf. Enjoy a fresh floral aroma with a subtle umami aftertaste in the cup.

Truly a fantastic green tea with a rich, yet subtle, flavor profile.
Such a lovely tea, with a delicate balance of floral and a slight, pleasant earthiness. It's become my morning ritual, providing a calm start to the day.
The fresh floral aroma is so inviting, and the umami aftertaste provides a wonderfully unique finish. It's a very refreshing cup of tea, great for any time of day.
Having tried many green teas over the years, this Mao Jian stands out. The fresh floral notes are perfectly balanced with that distinctive, delicate umami finish. It's a consistently smooth brew that never disappoints, making it a staple in my tea collection. The quality of the leaves and careful processing are evident in every single sachet.
This green tea is so smooth, never bitter, even if steeped a little longer. The floral notes are very inviting, making it a truly enjoyable drink.
