I wear these for my daily walks and sometimes for light rucking, and they've been performing well. The suede and Cordura upper feels robust, and the boot height is just right. They do run a little on the warm side for summer, but for cooler weather, they're perfect. Overall a solid choice, just be mindful of the heat.
Fantastic traction and stability with heavy packs.
Got these for my husband who is always on his feet for work, and he loves them. He says they offer amazing support compared to his old work boots. The Chestnut + Black color combination also looks really sharp.
The new outsole definitely delivers on traction; I felt secure on various terrains during a recent hike. However, I found the fit a bit snug in the toe box, even after trying my usual size 9.5. It's not uncomfortable enough to return, but I wish there was a bit more room for my feet.
No break-in needed for these; they were comfortable right away.
