The fabric quality is excellent, and they definitely live up to being quick-drying. But even for a relaxed fit, they feel a bit too baggy around the thighs on my size 32, which isn't ideal for more strenuous trail activities. A slightly trimmer cut would improve them.
These Mountain Wave Shorts are exactly what I needed for summer. The recycled nylon feels durable yet light, and the stretch is just right for scrambling over rocks or getting in and out of a kayak. The drainage features really work, preventing them from getting waterlogged after a dip.
