Awkward fit, not comfortable
The stretch denim feels okay, but the fit is very strange. They were baggy in some areas and uncomfortably tight in others, especially around the lower leg. The overall construction also seemed a bit off for the price point. Very disappointed.

Comfortable but slightly long
The Japanese selvedge denim feels high quality, and the 4-way stretch is a welcome addition, making them very easy to wear all day. The slim fit through the thighs is good, but the 34" inseam felt a bit long for my height, requiring a cuff or hemming. The black color is solid and hasn't faded after a few washes.

Great quality, but calf area tight
The fabric on these jeans is premium, with a great feel and plenty of stretch for movement. The black color is very rich and consistent. My main issue is with the taper – it's a bit too aggressive around the calves for my liking, making them feel a little snug when I sit down. Otherwise, they're a really well-made pair of jeans.
