The waterproofing on these is definitely effective; I stayed dry through a surprising downpour. However, the sizing felt a bit off in the leg length for me (size XL), they were a little short, and the fit over my regular pants was tighter than expected, making them feel less comfortable for a full swing.
These pants did well on a recent rainy round. They kept me completely dry, and the material felt pretty light, not bulky at all. My only minor complaint is that the waist feels a little snug when layering over regular golf pants, despite getting my usual size L.
Played 18 holes in a consistent drizzle, and these rain pants were fantastic. The straight-leg cut goes on easily over my golf shorts or pants without looking baggy. The welded zip pockets were also great for keeping my scorecard and tees secure and dry.
