Decent, but not for heavy rain
The jacket is okay for light protection, but it won't keep you dry in anything more than a drizzle. Expected a bit more for the weather resistance.
This year-round Colorado Rapids Limited Edition hooded jacket is built with unpredictable weather in mind, one layer you can trust to adapt as everything else shifts. The relaxed fit moves with you on and off the trail (or the ptich), while soft, stretch-fabric provides just enough weather protection for transitional days.

This jacket is exactly what I needed for walks. The Rio Red / Midnight combo looks really good, and the material feels soft against the skin. It handles light breezes and cool mornings perfectly.
Fantastic jacket for those tricky in-between weather days, really well-made.
Got this for transitional days, and the stretch fabric is really nice for movement.
The relaxed fit is perfect for layering, which is what I wanted. It's a solid jacket for unpredictable weather, but it isn't moisture-wicking, so keep that in mind if you tend to sweat a lot on the trail. Still, very happy with the purchase.
