A little too boxy
The cut of this jacket is more boxy than I prefer, even for a layering piece.
A heritage-inspired jacket with workwear roots. The Mt. West Ranch Jacket is made from heavyweight organic cotton canvas with a flannel-lined interior for extra warmth and comfort. A corduroy collar, oversized zipper, and classic chest pocket snap details give it a timeless style. Built for layering and made to last season after season.

The quality of this jacket is outstanding. From the heavy organic cotton canvas to the sturdy oversized zipper, everything about it feels premium and durable. The flannel lining adds a comfortable warmth without being overly bulky, making it perfect for those colder mornings. It's clear this jacket will be a staple in my wardrobe for many years to come, easily replacing an old denim jacket I had.
The jacket is very comfortable with the flannel lining and the Beetle color is unique. My only minor complaint is that the chest pockets could be a bit deeper for securing items better.
The oversized zipper feels a bit clunky and doesn't always glide smoothly when zipping up.
Bought this for my husband in his usual Large and it fits a bit on the larger side, even for layering. He likes the Beetle color and the flannel lining is soft.
