Not very warm
I found this jacket barely warm enough for really chilly days, even with layers underneath.

This jacket is great for cold weather running and cross-country skiing. The stretch panels mean no restricted movement, and it breathes very well, preventing overheating. It's a noticeable upgrade from my old fleece.
I bought this for my husband, who's always complaining about being either too hot or too cold on our ski trips. He's really impressed with how well this regulates his temperature. He usually wears an L, and the Large fit him perfectly, with enough room for a base layer without being baggy. It's a great option for those who like to be active outdoors.
The jacket feels great on, and the stretch panels are a nice touch for movement. However, I found it a bit too warm for light activity on cool days, yet not quite warm enough on its own when the temps drop significantly. It’s okay as a layer, but I was hoping for something I could wear more often by itself.
Solid jacket for active use, but it feels a bit tighter than other XLs I own.
