The blade is definitely sharp and cuts well through most ingredients, which is a major plus over my old chef's knife. I appreciate the comfortable grip of the composite handle. However, despite careful hand washing, I noticed a very faint discoloration near the handle after a month of use, which is a bit disappointing for a knife of this supposed quality.
