The main problem is the lid. It's a press-in style and it never feels secure. If the mug tips over even slightly in the car, liquid just sloshes out from around the edges. I had a different brand before with a screw-on lid, which was much more reliable. This mug is only useful if you hold it upright perfectly the whole time, which defeats the purpose of an on-the-go mug.
I got the Dried Pine color, and it's a nice change from basic black. It does keep my tea hot for several hours, which is appreciated on long drives. Sometimes the lid can be a little tricky to align perfectly.
This mug is both beautiful and functional. My hot chocolate stays warm for hours, perfect for chilly mornings. It's also super easy to clean, just pop it in the dishwasher.
I mainly use this for iced water, and it truly keeps it cold all day long. Even after leaving it in a warm car, the ice barely melts. The Rose Quartz is a lovely shade.
