These bowls are well-made ceramic and definitely feel like a quality product. The glossy interior is great for not scratching, but I've found the satin exterior of the Spice color can sometimes pick up minor scuffs or smudges more easily than I'd like. They handle the microwave perfectly though and are a good size for most meals.
These bowls are excellent. I use them for everything, from a big salad to popcorn. They stack so neatly in the cupboard, which is a huge plus for my small kitchen.
