My sister loves cooking Asian cuisine, so this set was a no-brainer for her birthday. She especially liked the individual chopstick rests and the unique glaze on each stoneware bowl. They're microwave and dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus for daily use. A very thoughtful and practical gift that looks beautiful on the table.
These rice bowls are much sturdier than the ceramic ones I had before, which always chipped. The stoneware feels robust and the hand-glazed finish gives each bowl a unique character. They handle the microwave well for reheating.

The bowls themselves are lovely, solid stoneware and a nice capacity. However, the bamboo chopsticks included are quite a bit shorter than my usual ones, making them a little awkward to use. I'll probably just use my old chopsticks with these.
