The Bistecca plates are very attractive and do a great job catching juices. They protect my good knives well. My only minor complaint is that they feel a bit thinner than I anticipated for serving larger cuts of meat.

The juice trough works well to keep things tidy, which is a real plus for presentation. Just remember these are hand wash only; a little more frequent oiling than I expected seems necessary to keep the wood looking fresh after a few uses, otherwise it can start to look a bit dry.
