The 70lb paper is fantastic. It's thick enough that there's absolutely no bleed-through with any of my pens, even felt tips. The dot grid is subtle and perfect for both writing and light sketching.
The quality is amazing, especially the leather. It's just a bit heavier than I expected.
The binding system is fundamentally flawed; the discs don't securely hold the pages. I've had multiple instances where pages simply fall out when flipping through, especially when the journal is carried in a bag. This makes it impossible to trust as a reliable notebook for important information, and it's far too expensive for such a significant design failure.
The Tan leather is beautiful and the discbound system is so smart for organization.
