The cotton material is comfortable and the matelasse design is quite attractive. After the first wash and tumble dry, it did seem to shrink just a touch, making it a slightly tighter fit on the pillow. Still, it's a solid cover.
The zipper on this pillow cover completely failed after the first attempt to put it on.
I bought this to go with my existing Parachute bedding set, and it's a perfect match. The texture is subtle but definitely adds a touch of elegance to the bed. It's incredibly soft and durable, just as described.
