Perfect for frying up dinner
Got this for my wife to make frying less messy, and she loves it. Fits our 12-inch HexClad pan perfectly. It's much easier to clean than our old metal screen and lets the steam escape for perfectly crisp chicken.
You’ve just fried chicken right on the stovetop. (Go, you!) But then you see a fine mist of grease everywhere. Sigh. Enter: our new, folding splatter screen. Built to last, this heat-resistant silicone screen features a durable stainless-steel skeleton for added support; it also fits pans up to 12½ inches wide. The wonderful thing about a grease splatter screen is that it shields you and your cooking surface from sputtering hot fat without trapping in moisture (as a lid does). That keeps food crunchy and crispy–instead of soggy. When you’re done cooking, pop the splatter screen right in the dishwasher. It’s a win-win. • Designed for pans up to 12½” wide, including our 10” & 12” pans and woks as well as our 3.3-QT, 4.5-QT, 5.5-QT and 7-QT deep sauté pans. • Compact folding design for easy storage. • Ideal for pan-frying, deep-frying and searing. • Opens so the cook can conveniently add ingredients to the pan while cooking. • Made of heat-resistant (up to 480ºF) silicone with a durable stainless-steel structure. • Stay-cool silicone handle with stainless-steel locking hinge. • Dishwasher-safe.

This screen keeps the grease off my countertops. Simple and effective.
This splatter screen is way better than using a lid if you want to keep food crispy. The silicone is fantastic for cleanup – just toss it in the dishwasher. It covers my largest pan with no problem.
It does a good job of stopping splatter, and the silicone is easy to clean. My only small gripe is the slight dome shape, which makes it a little awkward for stacking.
Keeps the grease in the pan and off my counters, which is exactly what I needed.
