Upgraded from an older model, and the difference in temperature and pressure control is stark. This Espresso Series 1 makes dialing in the perfect shot so much easier. The Walnut wood handle on my Cherry Red machine is also a lovely touch.

The espresso itself is quite good, with steady pressure and temperature. However, the steam wand feels a little underpowered for consistently creating microfoam for lattes. It takes a bit longer than I'd like to get milk to temperature.
