Really enjoyed assembling this; the working steering and pistons are impressive for its size.
Bought this for my nephew's tenth birthday, and he loved it! It kept him engaged for a good chunk of time. Some of the Technic connections were a little fiddly for him initially, but he got the hang of it quickly.
This was an absolute joy to put together. The working pistons and steerable front wheels are brilliant features that really make the model come alive. It took my son and me about four hours, spread over a weekend, which felt like perfect pacing for the 905 pieces. The finished car looks stunning in the blue and white, a real centerpiece for his room. The instructions were clear and the ABS plastic pieces felt very high quality throughout the build.
This looks incredible on my shelf, the blue and white really pop.
The Bugatti model looks great once finished, especially the opening hood mechanism. However, I found a few of the smaller connecting pins on the engine assembly felt a bit loose, which made me worry about long-term durability. It’s certainly a display piece, not one for rough play, even for a Technic set. The overall build experience was enjoyable, but the slight fragility keeps it from being a top-tier build for me.
