This speaker is a definite upgrade from my old generic one; the audio clarity is much better and the EQ4 modes are a nice touch. I mostly use it for podcasts while working around the house. The RGB lights are cool, but I wish the battery wasn't halved when they're on; it limits how long I can use it away from a charger if I want the visual effect.
The RGB lights are cool but cut the battery life down significantly.
Battery dies way too fast when the lights are on, barely lasts a few hours.
I needed a speaker for beach trips that wouldn't die halfway through the day, and this one delivers. The IP56 rating gives me peace of mind about sand and splashes. Sound is great for a portable, and the Black color looks sleek. I rarely use the RGB lights, so the full 16 hours of battery is a huge plus.
