I'm fairly handy with home projects, but installing these lights was a real headache. The mounting system felt flimsy, and aligning the panels perfectly was a huge challenge. I spent far more time on it than I ever anticipated. The final result is okay, but the effort involved wasn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend it for a casual DIYer. Definitely get a professional.
This lighting system truly offers unparalleled control over the ambiance in my media room. From vibrant, full-color RGBW scenes for gaming to subtle, warm white light for movie nights, it does it all. The integration with my smart home system was seamless, allowing me to adjust everything with voice commands. It's incredibly versatile and makes every experience better. A fantastic purchase for anyone serious about smart lighting.
My living room used to have a lot of dark spots, but these panels provide truly wide-reaching illumination. There are no shadows or awkward glare spots, just evenly distributed light. It's exactly what I needed.
The installation instructions were very unclear and made the setup process difficult.
The actual light quality from the panels is quite good, and I like the range of colors. However, the Nanoleaf app is often buggy for me. It sometimes fails to connect to the panels, or changes I make don't register immediately. This makes the 'smart' aspect less convenient than it should be. The physical panels themselves are impressive though.
