This cable performs well, delivering consistent power and display to my workstation. The build quality feels very sturdy with the braided nylon and aluminum housing, which is reassuring for longevity. My only minor complaint is that it's quite stiff, making cable management a little challenging in tight spaces. It doesn't flex as easily as some other braided cables I've used.
Blazing fast speeds and excellent power delivery.
The data transfer rate is excellent, truly next-gen for my external SSD. However, the 240W power delivery doesn't seem to be fully utilized with my laptop; it charges, but not as fast as a dedicated charger.
A huge upgrade from my previous USB-C cables. I use this to connect my Mac Studio to a high-resolution display and a Thunderbolt dock, handling a ton of peripherals. The 240W power delivery keeps everything running smoothly, even when pushing intense video editing and 3D rendering. It has truly streamlined my workstation, cutting down on cable clutter.
I purchased this cable specifically for its dual 8K@60Hz display support, but I couldn't get it to work with my setup. One monitor consistently dropped signal, or I would only get 4K resolution on both, despite my graphics card and monitors supporting 8K. My old Thunderbolt 4 cable actually performed better in this regard, which is frustrating. I tried troubleshooting with different ports and drivers, but no luck.
