JLab Midnight Wireless Gaming Headset is a wireless over-ear gaming headset in the better tier of JLab's gaming lineup. Built for PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, it delivers a 50mm dynamic driver, Spatial Audio, Dual Stream, and 100 hours of playtime with three connection options and a detachable boom mic. The 50mm dynamic driver covers the full frequency range for gaming audio and music. Spatial Audio creates a wider positional soundstage for more immersive gameplay. Dual Stream connects to two audio sources simultaneously — for example, game audio from your console and chat from your phone or PC — without switching inputs or re-pairing. EQ3 Sound with Music, Gaming, and Custom modes. Connect via USB-C dongle for stable low-latency wireless, wired via 3.5mm AUX for consoles and devices without USB, or via Bluetooth 5.4 for casual listening. The included USB-C to A adapter means the dongle works with both USB-C and USB-A ports. Bluetooth Multipoint connects two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Both Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair supported. Support protocols: HSP/HFP/A2DP/AVRCP. The detachable boom mic positions close to your mouth for consistent in-game chat and call quality. Quick Mute rotates it up to mute instantly. Two-mic ENC reduces background noise. Mic monitoring lets you hear your own voice through the ear cups during sessions.

This headset replaced an older wired one, and the difference is night and day. No more tangled cables, and the sound quality is a significant upgrade. The detachable mic is also a nice feature for when I'm just listening to music.
The over-ear design is incredibly comfortable for my long gaming sessions on PlayStation. The sound is immersive, and I appreciate the flexibility of connecting via Bluetooth to my phone simultaneously. Very happy with this purchase.
These are incredibly comfortable for hours of use, which is important for me as I game a lot. The dual stream is genuinely useful for voice chat on my phone while playing on my PC without any fuss. Battery life is stellar; I almost forget to charge them. I would recommend these to any serious gamer.
They feel nice over the ears, but my friends said my voice wasn't always clear with the detachable mic.
The sound quality is decent when it works, but I keep experiencing connection drops with the 2.4 GHz dongle on my PC. It's frustrating when I'm in the middle of a game and the audio cuts out. The mic also sounded a bit muffled to my friends.
