Customer reviews
What customers say: This hub provides excellent port expansion and fast data transfer for M2 MacBook Pro users. It boasts a solid aluminum build, with some users noting it can get warm during heavy use.
★★★★☆
Good expansion, slight warmth
This Satechi hub offers excellent port expansion for my M2 MacBook Pro, which I really needed for my desk setup. All the ports function as expected, especially the high-speed USB4 and Ethernet. The aluminum build quality is good, though the unit does tend to get noticeably warm under heavier loads, even if it doesn't affect performance.
★★★★★
Works great, plug and play
Connected it to my M2 MacBook Pro, and everything just worked instantly. So convenient.
★★★★☆
Good, but a little warm
This hub is mostly fantastic for my M2 Pro. I appreciate all the port options, especially the audio jack and Ethernet. The build quality feels very sturdy with its aluminum body. It does tend to get a bit warm when I have multiple things connected and am running a large display, but it hasn't caused any performance issues.

Essential for my home office
This hub is exactly what I needed for my M2 MacBook Pro. I connect it to my external display via the USB4 port and also use the Ethernet for a stable internet connection. The Silver color looks great with my setup.
