The PAW3212 sensor tracks precisely on my mouse pad.
The overall feel of the mouse is a little heavier than I prefer for extended use. While the sensor tracks fine, the buttons feel a bit cheap compared to my old mouse. Battery life is decent, but the weight makes it less comfortable for my daily tasks.
I appreciate the different connection modes, but the tracking sometimes feels a bit jumpy on certain surfaces. It's not terrible, but noticeable enough to be an annoyance during design work.
Got this for my son for school, he finds it very comfortable.
Using it on my Mac and Linux machines without any issues.
