About this item

JLab Epic Mini Wireless Keyboard is a 60% form factor wireless keyboard built for work and compact desk setups. It connects via 2.4GHz USB-C dongle or Bluetooth 5.2, runs on battery for over a year between charges, and supports both Windows and Mac layouts in one keyboard. 82 keys with a media knob in a compact, portable package. A 60% layout removes the numpad, function row, and navigation cluster found on full-size keyboards, leaving only the core alphanumeric keys, modifier keys, and arrow cluster - the keys used most during typing. The result is a noticeably smaller footprint on your desk and a lighter keyboard to carry, while a media knob at the top right handles volume and media control without needing the missing function row. OS Layout Keys let you switch between Windows and Mac key configurations directly on the keyboard. Scissor switches provide a low-profile keypress with 1.8mm stroke distance and 5 million cycle key life - quiet and well suited for shared workspaces. Backlit keys for low-light use. Battery life runs over 1 year with the backlight off and over 13 days with backlight at max. Standby time exceeds 24 months. Charges via USB-C in under 5 hours. Connect via 2.4GHz USB-C dongle for stable low-latency wireless or Bluetooth 5.2 for multi-device flexibility. Tilt legs for adjustable typing angle. Coated ABS top cover. ABS keycaps.

Great for gaming and work

I use this for both my occasional gaming and my daily work, and it performs well. The compact size means more mouse space, which is a plus for gaming. Typing is responsive enough for quick emails.

Excellent for small spaces

Got this for my home office setup where space is at a premium. It's truly mini but doesn't feel cramped to type on. The ability to switch between devices is very handy.

Layout takes getting used to

Corey S. · 2026-03-15 · Verified purchase

While compact, the 60% layout is a significant adjustment for me coming from a full-size board. I keep missing the function row and numpad. The membrane keys feel a bit soft for long typing sessions.

Good, but wish it had backlight

Fatima F. · 2026-03-17 · Verified purchase

The keyboard is fine for daytime use, but the lack of a backlight makes it hard to use in dimmer lighting conditions.

My new favorite keyboard

Caitlin A. · 2026-03-22 · Verified purchase

I was hesitant about a 60% keyboard, but this one has won me over completely. The arrow keys are still there, which was important for my workflow, and the media knob is incredibly convenient for adjusting music while I work. Connecting via the USB-C dongle to my desktop is instant, and I use Bluetooth for my tablet when I'm on the go. It feels sturdy for being so compact.
