My previous dock was always finicky with external displays, but this Baseus Spacemate RD1 has been absolutely perfect from day one. All three display outputs work without a hitch on my Windows machine, and the 100W power delivery keeps my laptop fully charged. The compact design is great for my smaller desk.
While it connects my multiple screens and accessories fine, the included 100W adapter doesn't always seem to fully charge my laptop if I'm doing something resource-intensive. My laptop slowly loses charge even when connected. It works better for lighter tasks, but I expected it to keep up with my workload.
This docking station transformed my workstation. Connecting all my peripherals, including a high-speed SSD and multiple monitors, through a single cable to my Windows laptop is incredibly efficient. The instant screen lock button is surprisingly useful when stepping away. It’s well-built and feels durable.
Switching between my work laptop and personal laptop is now instant with this dock. The audio jack is great for my headphones. It just works, every time.
I've been looking for a docking station that could handle all my peripherals and multiple monitors without a huge footprint. This one delivers. The 1 Gbps Ethernet connection is stable and fast, and the 10 Gbps USB ports are great for external SSDs. It's a fantastic upgrade for my home office setup.
