The blending power on this is excellent for making hummus and pureed vegetables. It definitely feels like a professional-grade tool. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit heavier than I expected at 3.1 lbs, making it a little tiring during longer blending jobs.
Blends everything perfectly smooth, from smoothies to soups.
I've been using this for about nine months now and it's still performing perfectly. It's so much easier to use than dragging out my big blender for small tasks. The variable speed control is incredibly precise, allowing me to get the exact texture I want every time without over-processing. A very reliable kitchen tool.
My old countertop blender was such a hassle to clean after making big batches of soup, but this immersion blender has totally changed that. The five speeds are plenty for everything from a chunky tomato sauce to a silky-smooth bisque. Plus, the detachable blending shaft makes cleanup incredibly simple, just a quick rinse under the tap. It's truly a kitchen essential for anyone who cooks a lot.
