Bought this for my husband's birthday and he loves it. The colors are very bright and responsive, especially when playing action games. He mentioned that it's a shame it doesn't work with the mobile app, but the desktop software is functional enough once you get used to it.
For the sale price, this lightstrip is a solid addition to my battlestation. The 75 addressable LEDs do a great job of picking up subtle color shifts on screen, making a noticeable difference during cinematic games. My main quibble is that the setup adhesive could be stronger; I had to use extra tape to ensure it stayed put around the monitor's curvature, which was a minor inconvenience after getting everything else connected via USB-C.
The hardware seems decent enough, but the desktop app is really buggy for me. It often disconnects or crashes, which defeats the whole purpose of the real-time mirroring. I wish there was a way to control it without the software constantly running.
My son absolutely loves this for his gaming PC. He says the light effects truly pull him into the game, making the experience much more immersive than before. The 8.2ft length was perfect for his monitor, wrapping around three sides easily. Plus, the music sync feature is a fun bonus for when he's just listening to tunes while doing homework.
This lightstrip really elevated my entire PC setup. The real-time screen mirroring is incredibly accurate and dynamic, making everything from gaming to just browsing feel more vibrant. It's a huge step up from my previous generic RGB strip that only had static colors. The music sync function also works flawlessly, reacting perfectly to whatever audio is playing through my system without needing any extra hardware. I'm really impressed with how responsive it is.
